Ms. Kathy''s V. I. Class

I am Mrs. Kathy Michael the visual impairments resource specialist/consultant. I was at Lee High School and last school term I was the classroom teacher for the elementary braille readers at Greenville Elementary during the first semester. For second semester and this year, I am back to being itinerant and on consult for most of my students so that I can help with technology for our children with visual impairments. My "headquarter" school is Westminster Elementary School.

My students are at the following schools:

Jefferson Terrace Elementary

LaBelle Aire Elementary

Southdowns Preschool Center

Westminster Elementary School

Woodlawn High School

I have 33 years of experience in teaching children ages 3 to 23.

I have a main web site called �Ms. Kathy�s Kids� which is a site dedicated to children with visual impairments. I�ve had this site for years and pay for it�s upkeep from my own pocket because of my dedication to education for and about children with visual impairments.

There is a me ssage board linked to it from where parents and others from all over the country have contacted me concerning children with visual impairments.

I also work with Girl Scouts, Children's Church and Sunday School at my church--so children have a special place in my heart.
